Eight regions, each with its own character — the perpetual green and fog of the North Coast, the volcanic emptiness of the Shasta Cascade, the cliff-edge perfection of Highway 1, the year-round technical playground of the Bay Area, the long straights of the Central Valley connecting it all, the High Sierra’s passes and granite walls, the stripped-down heat of the desert, and the aggressive, adapted riding culture of Southern California. These stories are drawn from all of it. They’re the ones that stuck.
