Sea to Sky
Come along for the breathtaking trip via British Columbia’s Highway 99, also known as the Sea to Sky Highway. It connects some of the most rugged land that touches the sea to the dominating mountains that call this land home.

Tantalus Range
The Tantalus Range sits inside of the Pacific Ranges in southern British Columbia, Canada. The range is easily viewed looking west from the Sea to Sky Highway.

Mount Currie
Striking at over 8,500 feet, Mount Currie dominates this part of the landscape. Located just north of the Sea to Sky Highway (but still Highway 99), this mountain was named for John Currie, who settled in the Pemberton Valley.

Whistler Mountain
Whistler is the recreation powerhouse in this area! Full of people, fall color and adventures, this area was alive even in the midst of shoulder season. We found two amazing murals on the Whistler Search and Rescue buildings and some fantastic fall color!

The Black Tusk
The Black Tusk is considered to be the remains of a volcano that formed over one million years ago. It is among the best known mountains in the Garibaldi Range.

Powering Home
The Sea to Sky corridor is also a powerhouse for hydroelectric energy. Various dams and power infrastructure snake across the rivers and lakes generating massive amounts of power for the people of southern British Columbia.
